Secure Server Information Area

  • Q: What is a secure server?
A: A secure server safeguards your Internet communications by requesting authentication for server access, encrypting private information and protecting the integrity of your data.
  • Q: What is SSL?
A: SSL(Secure Socket Layer), also known as "Netscape" encryption, was developed by Netscape Communications to allow for secure, private Internet communications. For more information on the Netscape Commerce Server and SSL, refer to the Netscape Internet Security page.

How it works

When you have chosen your book/s, click the purchase link. You are taken to the purchasing procedure.

Firstly you will be asked for your invoice details (ie. the address to which we will send the book/s and invoice) and then taken to the payments area. Here you are given the option to pay for your book/s using the secure server or cancel. You will be able to see that you are with a secure server because either; a) the lock in the corner of the browser will be completely locked or b) your browser will notify you if you have the option turned on.

You will then be prompted for your credit card details and the order processed completely securely, after which you will be taken back into the site.
